Itinerary

Day 1: CHANDIGARH - RAMPUR
Distance- 225 Kms
Duration- 8 Hours
Highlights- Shivalik Himalayas, Shimla, Narkanda
After registration and briefing in the morning, we commence The Snow Affair- White Spiti Expedition. The journey starts with a picturesque drive from Chandigarh to Rampur Bushahr, taking you through the beautiful and scenic Himalayan roads. The total distance of the journey is approximately 225 km, and it takes around 7-8 hours to complete, depending on the traffic and road conditions. As you leave behind the city of Chandigarh, you will experience a gradual change in the landscape, where the lush green hills of the Shivalik Range give way to the rugged and snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas. Upon crossing Shimla, you will reach Kufri, where you will get a short glimpse of driving over snow, although only small patches of snow are expected till Narkanda. The drive continues until you reach Rampur Bushahr, where you will be welcomed by the serene and picturesque surroundings. This town is located on the banks of the Sutlej River and is surrounded by lush green forests and snow-capped peaks, making it a sight to behold.

Day 2: RAMPUR - SANGLA
Distance- 94 Kms
Duration- 4 Hrs

Traveling from Rampur to Sangla takes you on a breathtaking expedition through the mesmerizing Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The route navigates you through twisting mountainous roads that unveil picturesque panoramas of the Sutlej River, apple orchards, and snow-capped peaks. The distance of the journey is approximately 94 kilometers, and it usually takes about 4 hours to cover. En route, you will encounter charming snow-covered villages, each flaunting its unique culture and heritage. As the evening descends, indulge in a brief off-road snow trail drive next to the river while savoring the enchanting view with a cup of tea and some snacks, making the experience unforgettable.

Day 3: SANGLA - CHITKUL - SANGLA
Distance- 64 Kms
Duration- 5 Hrs
Highlights- Chitkul Village
After breakfast in the morning, prepare to embark on a snow drive to Chitkul Village (3450 M), the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan Border, renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and traditional architecture. The road to Chitkul entails a thrilling snow drive that promises an adventure of a lifetime. As you make your way, be sure to steal glimpses of the stunning snow-capped mountains that surround you. In the afternoon, savor a delectable lunch at India's Last Dhaba. This trip is tailor-made for photography and adventure enthusiasts who seek to explore the beauty of nature in its most pristine form. Enjoy an overnight stay in Sangla.

Day 4: SANGLA - NARKANDA
Distance- 153 Kms
Duration- 6 Hrs
Highlights- Scenic Road Drive, Evening Bonfire
The final stop on our journey will be Narkanda, with the tranquil river Sutlej accompanying us all the way. As you approach Narkanda, the lush green forests will gradually transform into snow-covered pine trees. Narkanda is a charming town located in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh, renowned as a skiing destination during winters. The town is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. We will spend the night at a hotel in Narkanda, providing a perfect opportunity to reflect on the memories and experiences gained during the journey.

Day 5: DEPARTURE DAY
