Itinerary

Day 1: MANALI
Arrive at Manali After a meet and greet in Manali Volvo bus stand check in to the hotel. Take
some rest and fresh up. The afternoon we will give you a brief description of an upcoming
journey and will handover you the bikes. Then we will ride for a sightseeing tour in Manali so
that you can get used to your bikes. Later come back to the hotel. Relaxed and overnight stay.


Day 2: MANALI - JISPA
Distance- 93 Kms
Duration- 3 Hrs
Highlights- Solang Valley, Atul Tunnel, Lahaul Valley

After breakfast, we will start the journey towards Jispa crossing Atal tunnel. Atal Tunnel is a
Newly built highway tunnel built under the Rohtang Pass. After crossing Tunnel, the landscape
changes drastically as we enter the Lahaul and Spiti District. The lush green grasslands
disappear and the barren slopes of the cold desert take over. We continue the ride towards
Jispa crossing the quaint mountain towns of Sissu and Keylong. Arrive at the destination early in
the evening and have an adventurous overnight stay in Camps / Hotel.

 

Day 3: JISPA - TSO KAR
Distance- 225 Kms
Duration- 6 Hrs
Highlights- Sarchu, Pang, Tso Kar Lake

The drive from Jispa to Tso Kar in India is approximately 225 kilometers and takes about 6-7
hours to complete. The route typically involves driving from Jispa to Sarchu, then onto Pang and
finally to Tso Kar. The road from Jispa to Sarchu is mostly good, but can be narrow and winding
in some sections, so it is important to drive with caution. From Sarchu to Pang, the road is
mostly dirt and gravel, and the terrain is quite rugged, so a sturdy vehicle with good ground
clearance is recommended. From Pang to Tso Kar, the road improves somewhat, but it is still a
mix of dirt and gravel, with some rocky sections. The road passes through some high-altitude
mountain passes, so it is important to be prepared for the altitude and potential changes in
weather conditions. Overall, the drive from Jispa to Tso Kar can be quite challenging but also
offers stunning views of the Himalayas and the surrounding landscapes.


Day 4: TSO KAR - LEH
Distance- 153 Kms
Duration- 5 Hrs
Highlights- Changthang Plateau, Chang La Pass

The drive from Tso Kar to Leh is a scenic and memorable journey through the rugged and
mountainous terrain of the Ladakh region in northern India. The distance between Tso Kar and
Leh is approximately 153 kilometers, and the drive can take anywhere from 5 to 7 hours,
depending on the road conditions and the speed of your vehicle. The route from Tso Kar to Leh
takes you through the Changthang plateau, which is known for its vast expanses of arid desert,
high-altitude lakes, and snow-capped mountains. Along the way, you will pass through several
small villages, including Tangste and Karu, where you can stop for a break and refreshments.
The road from Tso Kar to Leh is a mix of paved and unpaved sections, with some stretches being
quite rough and bumpy. You will also need to cross several high mountain passes, including the
Chang La pass, which is the third-highest motorable pass in the world. While the drive can be
challenging at times, it is well worth the effort for the stunning scenery and unique cultural
experiences you will encounter along the way. Just be sure to stay well-hydrated to avoid
altitude sickness.

 

Day 5: LEH - KHARDUNG LA & BACK TO LEH
Distance- 80 Kms
Duration- 4 Hrs
Highlights- Khardung La Pass

The Leh to Khardungla drive is a popular and scenic drive in the Indian state of Jammu and
Kashmir. Khardung La is one of the highest motorable passes in the world, located at an altitude
of 5,359 meters (17,582 feet) above sea level. The drive from Leh to Khardung La takes you
through beautiful landscapes and picturesque villages of Ladakh region. The distance from Leh
to Khardung La is around 40 km, and it takes about 2 to 3 hours to cover this distance by bike,
depending on road conditions and traffic. The road to Khardung La is narrow, steep and
winding, so it requires a skilled driver to navigate through it safely. While the drive is beautiful,
it can be challenging due to the high altitude, which can cause altitude sickness for some
people. It is also important to carry warm clothing, as the temperature at Khardung La can drop
to sub-zero levels. Overall, the Leh to Khardung La drive is a unique and exciting experience that
offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the Ladakh region.


Day 6: DEPARTURE DAY
In the morning, wake up and have breakfast. Following that, return your bike and check out of
the hotel. You can either freely explore the city on your own or catch a flight back to Delhi.
